Approach to theenvironment
Our company stepped up the challenge and obtained ISO14001 certification in March of 2004 after having improved upon these 3 targets:
- Social background
- Strengthening business structure
- Strengthening competitiveness of die manufacturer
With ISO14001 status we have proven to meet the following 5 standards:
- Strengthening of business management and business structure.
- Development of an environmental improvement strategy to comply with local laws and regulations and be sensitive to environmental and community concerns at the same time as well.
- Contribution to profit by energy saving, defective prevention, and separation of waste.
- Classification of role and responsibility among full staff.
- Planned cultivation of human resources.
In addition, we are implementing enriching of management, improvement of facility, and education of human resources aiming further advancement by coexisting cooperate activities with local environment balancing with management concept. In future we are intending further significant leap forward and development by rising awareness of individual company member and advancing business structure.
Environmental policy (Established in October 2003)
CHIYODA INDUSTRY CO.,LTD establishes the environmental policy for business activity of “Harmony between human and environment” as a manufacturing company of mold and preproduction component on the basis of global environment and human dignity.
- 1. Compliance with laws
- We will comply with the environmental laws/regulations and other required items that the company agrees with.
- 2. Contamination control
- We will make efforts to reduce environmental burden as well as preventing contamination for atmosphere, noise, and vibration.
- 3. Continual improvement
- We will attempt to set up and accomplish environmental objective/goal and make efforts to execute the continual improvement for environmental management according to the plan.
- 4. Energy saving
- We will make efforts to facilitate energy saving in all business operations.
- 5. Waste reduction
- We will promote resource saving with waste reduction by improved and separate collection.
- 6. Environmental education
- We will improve environmental awareness among all employees by actively carrying out a company training/ enlightenment activity.
